I am a registered design professional. Aspects of design that interest me are composition and transitions. I design and compose with a tectonic understanding of materials, function, and assembly. I see design as a cohesive ensemble of disparate elements.

Music operates well under this philosophy; I believe design can too.

Although tectonic continuity is my objective, I believe this philosophy serves as a threshold into a more cohesive form of design; of integration, fusion and true synthesis. I define this theory as synthesized architecture; synthitecture. The theory leans heavily on the potential of evolving fabrication technologies that enable the reduction of segregated parts, and the merging of materials and functionality. The product is a fluid entity analogous to natural growth.
